Citizen Alert issued March 16, 2010 |
On March 16, 2010 at approximately 12:30 p.m. the Elk Grove Village Police Department responded to the 100 block of Lonsdale Rd regarding a Residential Burglary that just occurred. The victim reported that two(2) male dark-complected subjects entered the residence and removed currency and a purse from one of the bedrooms. The two offenders are further described as: |

Offender #1 posed as a roofing contractor and was allowed into the house by the victim. While the victim was being distracted, Offender #2 entered the house and removed an unknown amount of currency and jewelry from the bedroom. The offenders then fled in a large, dark colored van in an unknown direction. The Elk Grove Village Police Department is requesting the community's assistance in identifying the offenders.
