The mission of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department is to provide our residents with the highest level of fire and life safety protective services. The Department provides 24-hour fire, rescue, and paramedic services from four fire stations located strategically throughout the Village. The Department operates four Advanced Life Support (ALS) Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances and four ALS engines staffed by State of Illinois Licensed Paramedics. Last year the Fire Department responded to 5,528 total incidents, of which 3,262 were Emergency Medical responses.

For emergency fire or paramedic service, please call 9-1-1 from both landlines and cellular or wireless telephones within Elk Grove Village and the surrounding Northwest suburbs.
